Stand 05:17
I could see the clouds turn red. Was it you who painted them while stealing the hearts of men? It all turns out fine in the end. Was it right to stand by your side for all of this time? Whether you stay or you leave it doesn't matter to me, you really fucked it up this time. Well this hard to say, but it will never be the same. It doesn't matter who's to blame, because nothing will heal the pain. Whether you stay or go, it doesn't matter to me. Whether you stay or go, I'll be okay.
2.
I can't tell what's in your mind. But I don't know why, and I can't tell why. Why don't you listen to us this time? We can see you're shy, so do it right. Trying to find more things to say. You're lying to us everyday - and all we want you to do is tell us face to face, and it'll make it our day as you're running in, running in, and running out, running out of time. And time is all we ask for, but we don't ask for much, just living our lives right and keeping in touch with our family and our friends that we love the most. Well we may have fuck all, but we don't like to boast, and this is all we ask for, this is all we ask for... Why don't you put your hands in the air and do what's fair? But who cares about fair? And I know that you just take what's there. Forget the rest, you're the best. And if you think we don't want to know, then you're less stupid than I hoped you weren't. Speak out and let it show, because all we're feeling is betrayal and hurt. So gain our respect...
3.
See the same face on a different bill board, driving so slow 'cause that's the way of the world. Line upon line, it's another way to go. Forget what you know, 'cause I forget what I know. It's a new day. It's the same day. Work into the day, work into the working day. How does it feel to be a fake-authentic human-machine? I'm waiting for the moment that you will find you're lost inside our intricate minds. I'll explode into shards so sharp so you know you've only seen the best part of the show. A fluorescent glow, line upon line, all that I know is that it's yours or mine. Keep holding your breath for another year now, don't say a word just wait for the world. The churning of the wheels and the shit on the window, roll it down low, feel the wind blow now. Turn it loud. Turn it up loud. All that I ask is, how does it feel?

Roundabout 03:13
Touch his silver hand and you'll be alright, but be prepared for a new fight, adapt your eyes to the night. Everyone was watching the way she moves, take a tequila to the bar you're going to be a big star. She said keep your eyes to the ground. You go around. You're like a roundabout. Round and round. I never roll the dice because I got no luck. I'll never pull you out, even if you scream now. Two faces underneath the light, you brought a knife to a gun fight, son, a knife to a gun fight.
5.
You're not the kind to make love rewind. Time ticks away and it reaches a new day. What I wanted to say could be said in a few ways. You're silent though in your kingdom of thrones, overthrown by the things we had known. Yeah, that was me, lying through my teeth when I said that you left when we needed you most - the vacant skies are best for us both. Gods are men who drink cheap scotch and spend nights forgetting all the hours they lost. They were the mountains. You were the mountains. You, you, you. You're all I need. I'll be right here. Never know what to say when the time is right, I know what to say, but then I'm scared of something. Close the curtains up against the night, that was the day when you were the mountains. Well, that was then, but we'll be there yet again. Turn over the glass, let it pour down the time. We'll capture the sand and the sleep in your eyes. Then fall away pass right through the frame, you'll fall away because I won't say you're name. Now lets create something called 'fat'. Pull up a chair on the edge of the cliffside, watch the sky melt away in your eyes. Feel the ghosts of the ones you had known. Feel alone and then reach for the phone. They were the mountains. You were the mountains. You, you, you're all I need. Never know what to say, never learnt how to pray.

Thank God 03:45
Stop giving in so easily, you're your own person and only you can see that when you walk in the room you light up the dark, and then we can see who you are. And who does he think he is? Raise your voice and be heard. You're living your life taking his shit, how is that good enough? Just say no, because freedom lies in being yourself, and it shows. Just leave your sins upon the shelf and go. I'm trying to think what are you doing here, living your life in complete and utter fear - is that what you want for yourself? And maybe what I'm trying to say is: don't lose yourself, but definitely lose him, if that's what you want for yourself. So sit down, lie down, and I will tell you it's over. You said 'we're in this together', but now it's over. Getting loose from the pain that he caused you, well I guess there's nothing left to do than raise your hands and thank god.

What If I 04:32
I don't want you, I don't need you - but what I am supposed to do without you to save me when I'm beaten down. I need a new sound to break out of your spell. And what if I stop and think? And what if I turn my back on my pride? Would that make me a better man? And what if I become strong at heart? And what if I leave the dark and see who you really are? And well it's time, it's time for me to see, what's infront of me. Will it change me? And what if I spread my wings and touch the sky? Maybe then I'll let you pass me by, because I know that it's right. And what if I see the light? And what if I let life pass me by? Will I put up a fight? And well it's time, it's time for me to see, what's infront of me. It couldn't change me.

Wait for me. Stepping stones fall from your feet. Time is passing by; we'll fill our urns until god dies. Wait for me. Your finger prints on the glass... don't turn around, don't leave me here. Lose your mind in this endless world; start back where you were first. I have lost my everything, so fall through the earth. Wait for me. We'll burn the trees then watch the leaves. Let's just wait, else we'll drown in our ill-fate. A cancer on the lungs, you'll feel a kiss until you're numb. Don't turn around, don't leave me here. Don't leave me here. And we had... A glass box of secrets. A stone that never met the sea. A million clouds washed in blue. A liar in the room. Mirrors placed between our eyes. A window that watched the world...
